Kahlil “Huggi” Caesar

The “H” in HB Arts, Kahlil is originally from St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands. When he moved to Orlando in 1999 to pursue his art degree, he didn’t realize the job he picked up doing face painting at the Universal and Disney parks would end up becoming his life long career. He spent 14 years working with Enjoy Your Face, including 4 years in Japan where he helped establish their locations at Universal Studios Japan and got his first experiences in body painting. In 2015, he broke on his own, doing events and photoshoots alongside a regular 9-5. In 2019, Kahlil and Bethany formed a relationship through their mutual love of art, and he moved to Atlanta in 2020. These days you can find Kahlil painting across the metro Atlanta area at events and parties, or at home working on his next canvas.

Bethany “Queen B” McLean

Bethany started her face painting business back in 2004 in the Atlanta area, having grown up in and around Cherokee County. Having always loved getting her own face painted, and painting the kids at her church, she was encouraged to take her skills public. She met a great online community of face painters who shared their expertise on business and art to help her grow her own business, picking up henna art along the way. An offer was extended to join the face painters at the Georgia Aquarium in 2009, and she has been part of the core staff there ever since. Long running weekly kid’s nights at Mellow Mushroom and Atlanta Bread Company grew her business by establishing her reputation for fast, excellent artwork and great rapport with the kids. Nicknamed “The Baby Whisperer”, Bethany loves to get all ages in on the fun! In 2019, she joined forces with Kahlil to form HB Arts. Together, they have expanded the body painting side of the business and added airbrushing to the list of services offered.
